Our Association has been supportive of conservation efforts and the rejuvenation of this little river in the heart of Victoria by organizing members to educate the public of the importance of this creek. We have assisted in annual counts of returning fish to this river by playing an active role in installing the counting fence on the Colquitz River many years ago and in pre-pandemic times we have assisted in monitoring the health of fish within this river.
